Mirabai was the only daughter of Rathor Ratan Singh of Jodhpur.

Mirabai was born in the 16th century. Mirabai, whose everything was devoted to Lord Krishna. Devotion was engrossed in Meera.

An incident happened in Mirabai's childhood, due to which her love for Krishna increased a lot.

When a marriage procession of a reputed man came in her neighborhood, Meera was watching the procession with her mother, then Meerabai asked her mother where is my bride, on this her mother pointed towards Krishna idol.

And said that this is your bridegroom. Since then Meerabai accepted Krishna as her husband.and worship him.

Later when she grew up a little Mirabai's marriage to Maharana Sanga

The son of Bhojraj who later came to be called Maharana Kumbh was given to him.

Meerabai refused a lot for the marriage but it did not work. At the time of farewell after marriage, she took Krishna idol with her.

In her in-laws' house also she used to go to Krishna temple everyday. Singing, dancing and Krishna would get absorbed in devotion.

One day Rana's sister Udabai lied to Rana that Mirabai was having an affair with someone. When Rana reached the temple at midnight, he saw that Meera was in her devotion.

Rana asked who was there, then Meerabai indicated that this is the one with whom I talk. Mirabai's in-laws used to worship Durga mom.

So, he also asked Meera to worship Durga Mom.but Meerabai used to be absorbed in Krishna Bhakti.

Attempts were also made to kill her in various ways. She was also given a cup of poison. But she was absorbed in Krishna Bhakti.

And she also drank the cup of poison. And death could not even touch her. After some time her husband died and her relatives started torturing her in various ways.

By getting Disturbed, she left Chittor her husband's home village. She continued her journey with her Krishna devotion.

Then she went to Vrindavan on the go. There she came to meet mentor (Guru ji)then Guru ji has refused to meet, saying that we do not meet any woman.

Then Meera ji said that there is only one person or MAN here, that is my Lord Krishna, the rest are all gopis means females.

Hearing this, that Guru ji came running to meet her that there seems to be a very great woman.

And Meera also left from there and reached Gujarat and it is said that when she entered the Dwarkadhish temple in front of the whole crowd in the temple,she got enter in Lord Dwarkadhish idol forever.
