Weblog: Adding Tables and Polls to a Blog Post

Enhance your Weblog posts by adding tables and polls. Tables help you organize information clearly, making it easier for readers to digest complex data. Polls engage your audience by inviting them to share their opinions, increasing interaction on your post.


Adding a poll to a blog post


You can create a poll for your post in the Weblog.


  1. To add a poll to a blog post:

  2. Go to the Just Jolly.

  3. Go to the Weblog.

  4. Click Create a Post

  5. Click the Add icon beside the section where you want to add the poll.

  6. Select Poll under Elements.

  7. Select the type of poll that you want to create:

    1. Text in a list: Creates a poll with a question and a list of clickable answers.

    2. Text & main image: Creates a poll with a question, an image, and a list of clickable answers.

    3. Images in a grid: Creates a poll with a question and a list of clickable images with answers written on them.

  8. Enter your poll question and the answers that you want your readers to choose from.

  9. (Optional) Customize the layout, design, and settings of your poll.

    1. Layout: 

      1. Click Layout.

      2. Customize your layout using the options:

        1. Question: Enable the toggle to add a main image to your poll.

        2. Answers: Select a layout: List or Grid.

        3. Add an image to each answer: Enable the toggle to add an image to each answer.

        4. Poll Direction: Select a left-to-right or right-to-left direction for your poll.

      3. Click Save

    2. Design:

      1. Click Design.

      2. Customize the design using the options:

        1. Choose a background style: Select a color, gradient, or image background for your poll.

        2. Corner Radius: Adjust how rounded the edges of your poll and answers.

      3. Click Save.

    3. Settings:

      1. Click Settings.

      2. Customize the settings using the options:

        1. Voting: Select who can vote on the poll. You can choose to let everyone reader vote, or let only site members vote.

        2. People can pick multiple answers: Enable the toggle if you want to let people vote more than once.

        3. Results: Select who can see the results of the poll. You can choose to let everyone see the results, let only site members see the results, or make the results only visible to you.

        4. Show the vote count: Enable the toggle to display the number of votes that visitors have submitted.

        5. Show who voted: Enable the toggle to display the names of the site members who voted on the poll.

      3. Click Save.

  10. Click Publish.



Adding a table to a blog post


Add a table to blog posts to help provide more structure to your content, especially if the post has a lot of important information.


To add a table:


  1. Go to Weblog.

  2. Click Edit on the relevant blog post, or Create New Post to write a new one.

  3. Click Add on the left side.

  4. Click Table.

  5. Type the number of columns and rows you want in your table.

  6. Click Create table.

  7. Add the relevant content to each section of the table.

  8. Click Text style to customize the text that appears in the table.

    1. Click the Vertical alignment icon to choose how you want the text to align.

    2. Click the Background color icon to change the background color of the table.

    3. Click the Border color icon to change the color of the table border.

    4. Click the Show More icon to select a specific row or column.

    5. Click the Show More icon to add or remove rows and columns in the table. Customize the look of the table and the text:

  9. Click Publish.
