Weblog: Accessing the Blog Post Composer

Note: This article is primarily posted for Weblog Writer.


There are 2 different ways to access the post composer to write blog posts. You can access it from website, or open blog in the Just Jolly app and compose posts on the go.


Important: You should always add a title to your post before you write the rest of your post. Adding a title makes sure that your post is auto-saved. If you don't add a title, your post won't auto-save and you may lose work if you leave the post without manually saving.

Accessing the post composer on website


Once you are logged in, you can access the post composer from website. Just click the Create a Post button to get started.


Note: This button is only visible to people with writing permissions.
This is just an image of blog composer.

To access the post composer:


  1. Go to the Weblog.

  2. Click Create a Post.



Accessing the post composer from the Just Jolly app


Similarly to the logging in and writing posts on website via desktop, you or anyone else with writing permissions can also do the same using the Just Jolly app.


Note: Only people with writing permissions can see the Create a Post button.

To access the post composer from the Just Jolly app:


  1. Open the Just Jolly app.

  2. Tap the More icon .

  3. Tap Weblog.

  4. Tap Create New Post.

  5. Write your blog post and tap Next.

  6. Choose what you want to do by tapping the relevant option:

    • Save Changes: You can continue working on your post at a later time.

    • Schedule: Changes are saved and scheduled to be published on a specific date and time.

    • Save & Publish: Changes are saved and published straight away.

    • Post Settings:

      1. Edit your post settings and tap Save.

      2. Choose to either save your changes or schedule your post.


Additional info and tips


No matter whether you access a post on website or through the Just Jolly app, the process of writing a post is the same. Just enter the post title and then write your post.


Note: There is a limit to the size each blog post can be, currently, the maximum size of a blog post is 400KB.
