SSL Certificate Not Showing on Devices Running Older Windows or Mac Operating Systems

Our SSL Certificate may not be working if you're running Windows 7, or earlier, or MacOS El Capitan (10.12.1), or earlier.


This a result of older operating systems (OS) not recognizing a modern SSL Certificate. It does not mean there is an issue with our site's SSL Certificate. Learn more


In order to resolve the issue, we recommend updating your device to the most recent OS available.

If you have a windows device and you are unable to update the OS to a newer version, then you can follow the steps below to enable the certificate on your device.


How to enable the SSL certificate on older Windows OS

  1. Click Win + r, and type certmgr.msc

  2. Click OK.

  3. Go to Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates

    1. Right click on DST ROOT CA X3 certificate.

    2. Click Delete.

  4. Go to Intermediate Certification Authorities > Certificates

    1. Right click on R3 Certificate.

    2. Click Delete.

  5. Go to Third-party root Certification Authorities > Certificates

    1. Right click on DST ROOT CA X3 certificate.

    2. Click Delete.

  6. Install new SSL Certificate:

    1. Download this certificate installation link.

    2. Double click the download to open it.

    3. Click Local Machine.

    4. Click Next.

    5. Click Install Certificate.

    6. Click Place all Certificates in the Following Store.

    7. Choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities folder

    8. Click OK.

  7. Restart your PC.
