Groups: Managing Your Group Rules in App
Group rules are an essential aspect of maintaining a healthy and safe online community. By establishing clear and concise rules, members of your group can understand what is expected of them and how their actions may impact the group as a whole. Rules can help to prevent conflict, harassment, spam, and other unwanted behaviors that can degrade the overall member experience. Additionally, rules can help to establish a sense of trust and accountability among group members, which can lead to a more positive and productive group experience. You can either write your rules from scratch or customize the suggested templates. Members can review the rules at any time from your group's About section.
Create a New Rule
You can add new rules based on your group needs and dynamics. Tweak one of our rule templates or write rules of your own.
To create a new rule:
Open the Just Jolly app in your mobile.
Go to Group Dashboard.
Tap the Rules tab in admin tools.
Click +Add Group Rules.
Do one of the following:
I want to write rule from scratch
Click + Create New Rule.
Enter the title of your rule under Rule Title.
Enter an explanation of your rule under Rule Description.
Click Save.
I want to use a template
Click Use This Template under the relevant rule.
(Optional) Customize the rule's title and description as needed.
Click Save.
Manage an Existing Rule
Edit an existing rule at any time or delete it if it's no longer necessary.
To manage an existing rule:
Open the Just Jolly app in your mobile.
Go to Group Dashboard.
Tap the Rules tab in admin tools.
Click the Show More icon next to Group Rule.
Do one of the following:
I want to edit a rule
Click Edit Rule next to the rule you want to update.
Edit the rule's title or description.
Click Save.
I want to delete a rule
Click the Show More icon next to the rule you want to remove.
Click Delete Rule.
