Groups: Managing Your Group Notifications

Group notifications on Just Jolly allow members of a group to receive updates and alerts about the group's activities. This can include new posts, comments, and other interactions within the group. Users have the option to turn on or off group notifications for each group they belong to, and can adjust their settings at any time. This feature is intended to help users stay connected and engaged with the communities they are a part of on Just Jolly.

You can also decide which notifications you receive in your email, website and in the mobile app.

To manage your group notifications:

1. Go to your group.

2. Click the More Actions icon next to the name of your group.

3. Click Notification Settings.

4. Click the tabs to manage your group notifications for the following platforms:

Website

1. Click the Website notifications toggle to manage site notifications (in the bell icon):

   1. Enabled: You are notified about the group updates you choose.

   2. Disabled: You are not notified about group updates.

2. Select the checkboxes next to the updates you want to know about:

   1. Posts: When someone posts in the group.

   2. Comments: When someone comments in the group.

   3. Reactions: When someone react to your post (e.g. with an emoji).

   4. Group Updates: When an admin makes changes to the group.

   5. New Members: When new members join the group.

Email

1. Click the Email Notifications toggle to manage your email notifications:

   1. Enabled: You receive email notifications about the group updates you choose.

   2. Disabled: You do not receive email notifications about group updates.

2. Select the checkboxes next to the updates you want to know about:

   1. Posts: When someone posts in the group.

   2. Comments: When someone comments on your post.

   3. Group Updates: When an admin makes changes to the group.

   4. New Members: When new members join the group.

Mobile App

1. Click the Mobile app notifications toggle to manage your app notifications:

   1. Enabled: You receive notifications on the app about the group updates you choose.

   2. Disabled: You do not receive notifications on the app about group updates.

2. Select the checkboxes next to the updates you want to know about:

   1. Posts: When someone posts in the group.

   2. Comments: When someone comments in the group.

   4. Group Updates: When an admin makes changes to the group.

   5. New Members: When new members join the group.

5. Click Save.
