Customer Care: Select the Type of File You’d Like to Upload in the Contact Form
The "Select the Type of File You’d Like to Upload" field in the contact form allows you to choose the type of media file you’d like to attach. You can select from the following options:
Image (selected by default)
Video
Both
How to Use This Field
Default Setting:
The Image option is selected by default.
If you want to deselect Image, simply click on the Image option again.
Once deselected, the Upload File field for images will become optional.
Selecting Video:
If you choose the Video file type, you will not be able to upload images.
The form will restrict uploads to video file only.
Selecting Both:
When you select Both, you can upload both images and a video.
The upload fields for both media types will be available.
Visibility of the File Type Field
The visibility of this field depends on the Product you select in the contact form:
If the selected product doesn’t support media uploads, the field will not be visible.
If the product already requires a specific file type (e.g., only images or only videos), the field may be hidden to avoid confusion.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you don’t see the field: Verify if the selected product supports media uploads.
If you can’t see the Select the Type of File You’d Like to Upload:
Check if the form has a mandatory file type setting for the selected product.
You can verify this by selecting the product and checking if the Upload File or "Select the Type of File You’d Like to Upload" field is visible.
If you can’t upload a file: Ensure you’ve selected the correct file type that matches your upload.
